The original design of the Ruffle Train'n'Treat™ Snuffle Ball is unique and created by Sarah to provide enough of a challenge, but deliver rewards quickly to your pet.
It is made entirely from our lovely fleece and jute string so no rubber to chew in the middle.
This is designed to be used as a reward delivery mechanism when training, not a chew toy.

How to use a snuffle ball
1. Place one or two small treats in the ball ( these home made ones work well )
2. Place the ball on the floor in front of your dog.
3. Give the command to go to the ball ( such as 'okay')
4. WATCH them whilst they find the treat.
5. REMOVE the ball immediately when they have got their reward.
IMPORTANT: Do not leave your dog unsupervised with the ball. It is designed as a training aid. When your dog has snuffled out the treat, remove the ball immediately.

The ruffle snuffle and ruffle train and treat ball have been great for all my dogs but particularly for Lily who has been blind since the age of 5. She copes well but obviously can’t focus on rabbits on the lawn or see who is at the door and playing with tug toy is difficult and sometimes dangerous as she can’t see where she is biting into the rope. So the ruffle treat toy is excellent because she relies so heavily on her sense of smell. All 4 of my dogs love these toys but Lily is the best at finding all the treats and she really enjoys the challenge.

Got a couple of snuffle balls for our new pooch, he loves them as much as our last one (sad face) loved his snuffle mat. That one is still going strong, but you can never have enough Ruffle Snuffle products can you?

My golden retriever puppy really enjoys playing with the snuffle ball and it’s really great to use while she is teething but does have to be supervised as she tries to eat the ball…pleased to say the ball is standing up to the rough treatment it gets!!
